This client contacted us because they wanted to replace a grassy patch in their front yard with something that would benefit pollinators. We designed a modern pollinator garden with drifts of color coordinating perennials and strategically placed shrubs to fill the space. We also added the simple paver walkway for functionality, visual interest, and to create modern contrast with the airy/flowy flowers.
These plants are young and have been pruned by the nursery (pruning in the nurseries help plant stock put energy into root development) so they aren't in bloom. I cannot wait to take pictures next summer to show you guys how fabulous this garden will be. Once full size, after 1-2 seasons, these plants will perfectly fill this bed. We've added some photos at the bottom of the page to show you what the plants will look like when they are in bloom.
